The Daniel Glazier CPD Grant in Adolescent Mental Health and Substance Abuse is designed for Canadian family physicians, family physician researchers, and educators. This grant is named in memory of Daniel Glazier, a young man from Toronto, Ontario, who died at age 18 in July 2009 of circumstances related to mental health and substance abuse.
This grant supports continuing professional development (CPD) or the creation of clinical programs or tools to help family physicians in assessing and treating mental health and substance abuse among adolescents and young adults up to the age of 25.
